In memory of Michael Walter Stinson

My uncle passed away last night around midnight after suffering a massive heart attack. He was 55. I am sure most of the oldtimers know who I am talking about. He graduated Kelly in 1969. Was all district in all 3 sports, played a year of football at NC State before suffering a career ending concusion. He later played baseball at CVC, where he got his degree. During the 80s he owned the "Endzone" which was a popular hangout for Wise Countians during that time. And recently he had been teaching at Powell Valley Middle School. He is surrvived by his wife, Sherry, two adopted daughters, and two grandchildren.

He was a great uncle, came to all my football games, a great fan, was the biggest UT fan I have ever known, and just an easy going guy.
